SO, THE PLAN RESPECT THE COMPETITION’S GUIDELINES; HOWEVER WE TOOK SOME FREEDOM AS WE PROPOSE SOME BETTER SOLUTIONS, CONSIDERING THERE WASN’T SPECIFIC INDICATIONS ABOUT THIS. ONE OF THESE IS THE ELIMINATION OF THE DOUBLE LAYER ON THE HOTEL FORTUNA’S ROOF; THE OTHER ONE IS A MORE FLEXIBLE INTERPRETATION FOR THE BUILDING’S PLACEMENT AROUND THE CLOISTER.

WE THINK IS VERY IMPORTANT GIVE TO THE BUILDING THE MOST TRANSPARENCY TO RELATE THE CLOISTER TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND NATURAL PART OF THE ISLAND AND THE VIEW TO THE SEA. SO, THREE OF THE SIDES WILL BE MADE ON GLASS WHILE THE FOURTH WILL BE AN ISTRIAN MARBLE WALL THAT WILL LINK THE NEW AND THE OLD. SO THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER’S HOUSE, WITH ITS TYPICAL ISTRIAN STYLE, WILL HOST A WINE BAR TO DRINK THE TYPICAL LOCAL WINE AND WILL CONNECT THE NEW COMPOUND WITH THE OLD VENETIAN LIGHTHOUSE BY A STAIR.

ALSO IT’S VERY IMPORTANT INSERT THE LIGHTHOUSE ON THE SET DOING WITHOUT EXCLUDE IT AND LINK THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER’S HOUSE TO THE NEW RESTAURANT DOING WITHOUT CHOKE.
